How can I add internet sources?

Here’s how it works:

Browse to your internet source and select the text. Right click and choose “Copy”.
Head over to the Self-Plagiarism Checker and click the “Paste text” button.
Right click on the text area and choose paste.
Your source text now appears in the text area.
Click “Add source” to upload your source.

Which file formats can I upload to the Self-Plagiarism Checker?: The Self-Plagiarism Checker is a great tool for you if you are seeking to compare your work to only the sources you actually used, such as your own previous assignments or those of fellow students.

The checker is compatible with the following file formats:

.doc

.docx

.pdf

.txt

If you have a document in a different file format, we recommend converting it to .docx or .pdf and then uploading it as a source.
Can I change my original document?: No, it is not possible to change your original document. However, you can add, remove, and change as many sources as you want.
How can I download my Plagiarism Report?: Click the download icon at the bottom right of your screen.
How many sources can I add to the Self-Plagiarism Checker?: You can add up to 25 sources at a time to the Self-Plagiarism Checker. If you want to add more sources above that number, you need to remove others first.
Will my sources/document be stored in a (shared) database?: No, the Self-Plagiarism Checker does not store your document in any public database.

In addition, you can delete all your personal information and documents from the Scribbr server as soon as you’ve received your plagiarism report.
